get your dancin shoes, try this one out

we've learned 5 shows with an average of between 20-30 numbers in each. do the math and you'll suddenly understand why i'm so tired and so dead and so OVER dancing for a cruise. i haven't even got on a damn ship yet and i'm spent. normally i wouldn't complain but when each number has so many step touches and ball changes and awkward transitions and creaping on stage on 3 or 6 versus the type 1 or 5 can really drive you crazy. the choreography is so so so so sooooooooooo jacked sometimes that when it all adds up you end up just standing there and laughing cause you're so confused.

that has been me lately. i would try to give an example but you would just have to see it. i'll say this though, chasse left step right for a switch middle to the right on 1, land 3, cross behind with your left foot but dont' turn out of the jump on that count 3, single arabesque turn to the right on 4, end the turn short to run back stage left on 5, 6, chaine left 7,8 left fan kick to the ground on 1. after that there is a sweet chaine tilt kick that all travels right into an unwind right lunge facing back to stage left(where you just came from, opposite of the direction your body is turning towards) on count 4.

now, if any of you dance, i challege you to stand up and try this right now. if you have any questions or problems please feel free to call me and i'll coach you through it. basically it boils down to its a dance that could be tricked out and fierce and everything a little competition kid could ever want...but its not. its a bowl full of awkward and trying to hard and everybody looks ugly doing it. i won't even get started on how fast it is, thats a whole other story.

wow, that was a lot. needless to say i'm done learning and now all i ahve left is a hair cut and three days of review and then i'm off to the mediterranean baby. get me the hell outta here. byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

also, i'm ready to leave becasue people no longer say hello to me. its "i thought you were cutting your hair" or "i dont' know if they've talked to you about this but...." or "how's the weight coming?" or its them asking my cast if i really do go to the gym. all that bullshit wears on you and frankly i'm over it and ready to get on a ship with a free gym and the mediterranean as my backdrop and free salad bar. so that when i'm done i can send a picture back of me looking good with a big ol, HIRE THIS printed on it. its all so petty. this business is petty and full of cowards who are too afraid to talk to you so they find as many ways as possible to tell you without telling you. its old y'all. as is my venting

love you

finally, matt is the freakin best and cutest guy ever. also sis, i love you
