the last 3 days

Sea Day/James Bond night…..

So, it was a sea day and I worked all day in the jewelry shop. Good times. Came home and got dressed for James Bond night. This is where a bunch of rich people pay a bunch of money for a bunch of fancy food and drinks in the bunchiest, richest restauraunt on board (the pinnacle). All I’m gonna say is that the food was hella good.

We had to meet in the piano bar and the cast performed a skit for the guests. I was odd-job and really just stood there and looked hot. It was tough. But yeah, the characters had to deliver such lines as “Welcome to my secret lair, cleverly disguised as a cruise ship!!!” straight up gay right? Its so bad. But we got a free 6 course dinner and free drinks all night and got to go watch people gamble. I had 7 martinis. I feel real good. We ate duck, beef tenderloin, mango sorbet, a cheese platter, martini mouse, fine chocolates, a trio of goatcheese, salmon, and veggie sushi, and I can’t remember what else. I’m still full.

It basically boiled down to the fact that we didn’t want to do it. Still don’t. but the free food and free drinks made up for the 4 hour chunk of time it took out of our night.

p.s. I got to wear my Dolce’s. I looked like the blond Italian mob. I mean, I’d stop for a double take

p.s.s. please know I say shopping a lot but that does not mean I’m buying. Come on

Barcelona, Spain….may 23

Holy hell I’m moving to Barcelona. Clean, shopping, gorgeous people, great food, and finally a language I can hear and read. The streets were lined with old old buildings, lined with trees, had a giant center sidewalk, great shopping and cafĂ©’s, lets see how long I can make this sentence, amazing architecture by some guy named Gaudi(the whole city was planned by him), great public transportation, and the ability to buy pets on the side of the street(I’m talking turkeys, chipmunks, parrots, rabbits, you name it)

We spent 9 hours just walked around and shopping. I bought necessities like a pack of underwear and a pair of thin suspenders. But the shopping and style was life-changing. I mean, I’m a changed man. I love Barcelona. I’m coming back. Matt, we’ll have a house here too. Dad, we need to travel Europe so you can teach me stuff.

Marseille, France…may 22

Boring. Ugly people, not good shopping, lots of construction, nothing to see. I did however meet a shop owner(who used to be a dancer and choreographer in france) who told me the most important thing to find in this life is your one true love. That nothing else matters when you have that someone to come home to that understands and takes away all your troubles.

I mean, I was in france, shopping, getting lectures about true love. I was Moulin Rouge
