1st show breakdown

So tonight, Love Songs From Broadway. We’re in the wings, ready for the show, fully stretched, in full costumes, the overture is playing, Natalie is standing on the set about 10 seconds from the curtain rising…..creak, pop, snap, creak. THE SET HAS JUST CAVED IN ON ITSELF. The set is 4 stairs raised by hydrolics with add ons to make them larger. Turns out something broke underneath and the stairs started to fall down and the set that is attached to them came down with them. Showtime was delayed and it turned into an all singer show with the dancers sitting on the stage singing our parts. No choreo no nothing. Keep in mind that we did all this last minute changes in about 5 minutes with a full house waiting for a show. Luckily the singers are absolutely brilliant and we got a standin ovation at the end. This group has spoiled me in terms of singers. I can’t wait to share them with you. They fixed the set for the second show and we did a full show to a packed house and a standin ovation that lasted for about 5 minutes. WHAT A NIGHT.

p.s. I kicked and my leg didn’t hurt. Not really sure what that means cause it was hurting during my warm-up. This is stressing my shit out.

don't knock the double pirouette it is quite often my most deadly weapon on the dance floor. The show sounds pretty, however i think I would like to see the drunken video tape more. Have fun in St. Petersburg. Keep bein' a bad ass
